Electricity Surcharge
As of January 2024, Hiwa has applied a dynamic electricity surcharge on all storage, freezing, blending and crushing activities.
The electricity surcharge is reevaluated monthly, based on the model developed by branch organisation Nekovri and is dependant on the monthly average EPEX base price.
Current and previous EPEX base prices and its resulting electricity surcharge can be found in the table below.
